By downloading, installing, or using AminoTrack ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
AminoTrack is a nutrition tracking application that helps users:
- Track protein intake and amino acid consumption
- Analyze foods through photo recognition and text input
- Scan barcodes to look up nutritional information
- Monitor protein quality and completeness
- Receive suggestions to optimize amino acid balance
3. Important Health Disclaimer
AminoTrack is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.
- Nutritional estimates, especially from AI-powered photo and text analysis, are approximate and may vary from actual values
- These features are in beta and provide rough estimates, not precise measurements
- Always consult a healthcare provider or registered dietitian for personalized dietary advice
- Do not use this app to diagnose, treat, or prevent any health condition
- If you have food allergies, medical conditions, or specific dietary requirements, verify all nutritional information independently
4. User Accounts and Subscriptions
Free Tier
- Basic food logging and tracking
- Limited daily AI-powered analyses
- Access to food database
AminoTrack Pro (Premium Subscription)
- Unlimited AI-powered photo and text analysis
- Save foods to personal library
- Priority support
- Additional premium features
Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
Free Trial
- New users may be eligible for a free trial period
- Trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
- Upload malicious content or attempt to gain unauthorized access
- Use the App to develop competing products
- Share your subscription access with others
- Misrepresent information or impersonate others
6. Intellectual Property
- AminoTrack, its logo, and all related content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission
- User-generated content (custom foods, recipes) remains your property, but you grant us a license to use it to provide the service
7. AI-Powered Features
Photo Analysis
- You grant us permission to process photos you capture for food recognition
- Photos are analyzed in real-time and not permanently stored
- AI recognition may not be 100% accurate; always verify results
Text Analysis
- Natural language descriptions are processed by AI to identify foods
- Results are estimates and should be verified for accuracy
8. Privacy
Your use of AminoTrack is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OF NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; Loss of profits, data, or goodwill; Health issues arising from reliance on nutritional information; Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AminoTrack and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
12. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue any feature at any time
- Update these Terms with notice to users
- Change subscription pricing with advance notice
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App:
- For violation of these Terms
- For any reason with or without notice
- You may stop using the App at any time
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through:
- Informal negotiation (30 days)
- Binding arbitration (if negotiation fails)
Class action lawsuits and class-wide arbitration are not permitted.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AminoTrack.
